Telemann - Concerto in C minor with Brass Ensemble
Taking the delicate oboe concerto and transcribing it for 10-part brass ensemble (Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Scoring = 4 trumpets, 1 Horn, 4 trombones, & 1 tuba) has made an excellent chamber work. This is a wonderful arrangement to demonstrate style and control and makes use of a little used ensemble with a euphonium as the soloist. The accompaniment parts require a group sensitive to the character of the music, but a good college/university group should work easily.
Solo part is mainly in tenor clef.
